Since 2020, TANTFREAKY has been crafting music that merges , ELECTRO SPIRITUAL , JUNGLE JAZZ, TRANS COSMIC FUSION energizing grooves, and emotional, charismatic, deep vocal. The band consists of distinctive and unique personalities: 

Karolina Lipska – vocalist, composer, and lyricist, 

Kacper Mikołajuk – saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, and composer, 

Wojtek Konopko – pianist, composer, arranger and producer,

Dariusz Kaliszuk – drummer, composer.


Debut Album “Theory of Love”

In 2022, TANTFREAKY released their debut album, Theory of Love. The album, consisting of 14 original compositions, was met with widespread acclaim and was nominated for the prestigious WARTO 2022 award by Gazeta Wyborcza. The album is a reflection of the band’s creative vision, combining elements of jazz, electronic music, and deeply personal, emotional vocals.

 

Singles and EPs

Before the album, TANTFREAKY had already established a strong presence in the music scene with the release of seven singles, including “Give Me Some,” “Get Up Of Your Knees,” and “True Shining Stars.” These singles demonstrated the band’s ability to blend various genres, combining energetic rhythms with soulful melodies. In 2022, they released the mini-album Intercosmic Live Premiere 1: Fire & Water, which included live recordings of two tracks, “Free Your Emotions” and “I’m In Love With My Life.” In November 2023, they released the EP Jungle Jazz, further exploring their unique sound and emotional expression.

 

Folk Inspirations 

Towards the end of 2022, TANTFREAKY showcased the song “Matulu Moja,” a reinterpretation of a Polish folk song. This track is a beautiful example of how TANTFREAKY infuses their modern sound with deep cultural roots.

 

International and National Concerts:

TANTFREAKY has gained recognition both in Poland and internationally. The band won the Jazz Juniors 2022 award and was a finalist at the Ladies Jazz Festival 2020. Their music has resonated on prestigious stages worldwide, including:

Creative Process and Performances

TANTFREAKY is not only about composing but also about creating their own unique visual identity. They are involved in all aspects of their music, from recording and mixing to designing artwork and directing music videos. Their concerts are dynamic, full of energy, and interactive, where the audience sings, dances, and even plays percussion instruments. One of the signature features of their live performances is the sharing of fruits, which serves as a gesture of unity and joy.

 

Current Work

Currently, TANTFREAKY is working on their second full-length album, which will continue their musical experimentation and dive even deeper into their distinct sound. In 2024, the band released two singles, “Angel” and “Jungle on the Floor” both of which are part of their upcoming album Kings and Queens. They also released the independent single “Open Hearts Circle” each track showcasing their evolving sound that blends spiritual depth with the raw energy of improvisation, inviting the listener on a transformative musical journey.

TANTFREAKY continues to inspire, connect, and uplift audiences, proving themselves to be a leading force in modern music and beyond.
